Geese Wanted, Central Scotland
« on: March 02, 2012, 11:11:05 pm »

It looks as though it's the end of the road for our geese. Old Mr Goose died just before Christmas, and his widow is almost completely blind, and now just spends her days wandering round bumping into things  :'(.

The trouble is, once we've done the decent thing, it's going to be all too quiet round here.

So, does anybody have any young geese for sale in Central Scotland, or even hatching eggs come the spring?

I'm not sure exactly what type we want, but we'll know when we see them.  Mrs Womble has put in a request for something with interesting colours, no knobbly heads, and not too aggressive. I'm a bit less fussed, but seeing as this could be a 30 year commitment, it is important to get some we like!!

Can anybody help?

Cheers!
