I've tried to buy them but one of the owners 'wants his meat'.

Try not to upset yourself over their actions. You've done as much as you can - above and beyond what you signed up for. Some people are just eejits (I'm not sure how obscene I'm allowed to be on this forum  >:( )

They can throw the book at him for sending " in lamb " ewes to slaughter especially if they are raddle marked

no raddle marks as the mating was not planned, in fact mis-communication meant that 2/3rds of the owners never got the message that the ram was entire.
Its me stressing that they are sending (potentially) in lamb ewes. they seem oblivious and unconcerned.
