Welcome to the 'accidental' small holders forum - you are most definitely a small-holder - accidental or not.  Hope some of my veg do well - we don't have the lovely weather that you have in Devon.  My late husband was a Devonian!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Welcome from me too!!

We have not been here long, the land we have has never been touched for I don't know how many years.
This year and thus far, we have planted apple trees, pear trees and plum trees as well as a fair variety of soft fruit bushes.
Our neighbours assure us, nothing grows here but we are determined to grow our own fruit and vegetables.
In our last place we even grew our own grapes and made wine (well, er, tried to make wine).

Our land is mainly peat but I am told that such as spinach and Kale will grow anywhere, does anyone else have poor soil types and if so
what if any success on growing?
