I have been looking at the various fencing products offered by "Gripple" and i was wondering if anyone has used them and if you have thoughts on or experience of the same, as opposed to the usual installation methods?

I used to work in a factory that manufactured the zinc bodied types.

They are really good and easy to use and I know first hand exactly how much money and research has been thrown at them.

I've used them - we had a contractor in to do all our new fencing but the length along the road was 'fine' for now but was only 4 wire with barb on top - for the Jacobs that was fine but putting the shetland youngster in they could have walked though. So I purchased stock fencing and used existing posts and used the gripples to join and tighten the stock fencing and although it may not be 100% I would say it's not far off and has kept the little monster in!! Also I now have the tool for any other repair or tightens of the new fencing - for DIY I think they are good.
