Freezer Jam

3 lbs Rasps or Strawberries,  4 lbs Caster Sugar.  1 bottle Certo

Crush berries with a potato masher, stir in sugar. place in a warm place if possible and stir now and again until sugar has dissolved.

Once sugar has dissolved add Certo and stir vigoroulsy for 2 mins.

Leave for 24 hours. DO NOT STIR.

Pack into fridge containers and freeze. To use take out small amounts when needed.

This taste wonderful  :yum:

Certo is a natural product made from apples which is used in the home jam making process,replaces the sweeter type of pectin...... Ree

You'll get it in any of the supermarkets - in a dark coloured bottle about 6 inches high
