Oh Dear one of our older girls has prolapsed her vagina so she is now harnessed up and looking a bit sorry for herself.
We kept thinking she was going to lamb but our records tell us she's not due until around the 20th and now she's started to prolapse.
lambing her is going to be a test of our skill but i think we will be ok if she opens enough, once lamby is out we can shrink it back and stitch if we have too, i don't really want a full blown uterine prolapse thankyou, they are such a pain to deal with
We had one two years ago and still lost the ewe after lots of money, time and effort, but at least i can say we tried to save her.
Bloody sheep who'd have them. ( i love them really )
