Electric fence energizer reccommedations
« on: November 26, 2011, 10:14:22 pm »
Hello,
Can anyone reccommend a decent weather proof energizer that is good for 300m of electric tape.
I'm not after a full singing n dancing rolls royce unit but just one that will do the job.

Ive found Rappa a very good source of elec fencing energisers, esp the Speedrite ones.

They deliver reliably too even to our out of the way place!

We've got a rutland one that's been outside and working constantly for 2 years. No complaints.

Our Rutland is a good unit. Has a slow startup in case anything is leaning on the fence at the time. 12V Battery powered but sufficient for 20 nets. Now 6 years old and doing fine in a shed.
