Hello from Arizona
« on: March 09, 2009, 03:47:52 am »
Hi all, I'm from Tucson, Arizona and stumbled across this forum while doing research on raising sheep. I've kept horses all my life and my husband and I are brooding 12 chickens while building their coop out of old corral panels. I'm really interested in raising breeds of chicken, turkeys & sheep that are sustainable in our very hot and dry climate and look forward to browsing this forum!

WOW! Arizona - TAS is world wide now - welcome to the forum, Wendy!  I'm in the Wee County in Central Scotland.  Have you put yourself on the members map yet - so we can see where you are?

Hi and welcome to TAS forums.

Great to have another member from across the pond. We had a few members for Australia - climates similar to yours. But they seem to have gone a bit quiet - must be the long dark winter nights down under!
