Turkeys not walking

Hi Guys,
I bought 40 bronze turkeys about 3 weeks ago. They were 12 weeks old when i got them. One of them was weak when i got them and looked as if the others had picked on it at some stage recently it was light and could not walk. We put this in a horsebox on its own. Its still alive 3 weeks later but no better at all. It eats and drinks but cannot walk at all. 3 days ago i spotted another turkey that seemed to be going lame and yesterday when i went out to their stable to let them out it could not move. I have taken this bird out from the flock also. It is eating and drinking but there is no sign of it able to walk either. This morning when letting out the rest of the birds i noticed another one going lame. These are the smallest birds in the flock so i do not think they are to heavy to quickly. I have not got a clue what is wrong with them and am really worried this is going to spread through the flock. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards Patrick

Have you checked there feet for swellings or there hips for dislocation or there knees for slipped tenton. I would start there
Shetland sheep, Castlemilk Moorits sheep, Hebridean sheep, Scots Grey Bantams, Scots Dumpy Bantams. Shetland Ducks.

hi
I agree,   a common reason for lameness is too quick a weight gain- but these are the smaller of the group.
if no sign of skin leison, or injury then probably tendons
