Another Central Belter! :-)
« on: March 06, 2009, 11:11:18 pm »

Hi Folks,

Just thought I'd better introduce myself. Currently not a smallholder, but having we are having a go at some small scale eco-living whilst renting a wee cottage (ok, shack  :D) in the woods a bit North of Glasgow.

So, I'm looking forward to hanging out here, asking daft questions, and learning a load. Of course, if our future plans for a smallholding come off, we'll need all the help we can get!!  ;D

Cheers,

Womble.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Andrew - we're only 10 minutes away from you as it happens, so do feel free to drop by for a cuppa sometime  ;D

We do like our wee cottage - we moved in for 6 months originally, and have just realised that we've now been here 5 years!   However, over that time the thought of living in some Barratt style housing estate has somewhat lost its shine, hence we're now we're looking to move somewhere as wild and wooly as possible. Most of our friends think we're mad of course (what, no TV!?!), but we've come to realise that those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind  ;).

Cheers,

Womble.
