Hi -
i have just taken on 35 acres of winter ground and I would like some old non-shedding ewes to put to a Wilts ram in order to ultimately create a shedding halfbred that is a better mother and more prolific lamber than the Wilts. I will be using the better of the ewe lambs as replacements, so I want ewes who maybe have 1 or 2 labmings left in them before they are finished.
I would prefer Lleyns as I hear good things about them, but any lowland breed suitable for outdoor lambing would be considered.
Thanks,
Steve.
