Dolly and Daisy are 8 months old and unfortunately we are having to let them go for their own safety. We live on a smallholding and are unable to stop them getting on to the road.

They must go together as they are devoted to each other.

They are both docked and come from working parents. They have both taken mice from our stables.

You must have a secure garden or area for them as they are escape artists.

Hi, how are they with other animals? We live on a smallholding as well but down a track away from the lane and the next real road is over 2 miles away. We have a secure garden as our English Setters are escape artists as well. Only problem is we have 2 English Setters, 3 cats, sheep, goats, pigs, chicken, geese, guinnee fowl and horses. All our dogs live in the house with us and so do the cats - therefore they would need to be friendly with dogs/cats and all the poultry is running free. We are looking for 1 or 2 terriers that are companions as well as workers (well would be lovely to get rid of the vermin). You can see our place on www.silversun-enterprises.co.uk. They're fine with other animals: we have ducks, chickens, alpacas, pigs, cats and other dogs and they get on with all of them. You sound an ideal place for them, but distance may be a problem - we're in North Lincolnshire (DN39 6XH)

Hi,
well, it is quite a way. Ideally we would prefer not to travel that far but it depends a bit on how quickly you want to rehome them. If you can hold on to them till the middle of November that would help. My father is coming over to visit and we will take him to Manchester Airport which is already a good way up in your directions, so we could combine it.
