hi guys  :wave:
anyone got a spinning wheel hanging around that they would like to sell?
i've looked on line and will be 100% honest....
i dont have £250 hanging around :'( so would need to be fairly cheep.

If you are new to spinning and want to buy a cheap wheel, it would be advisable to take a friend who can spin with you when you view. S/He could then try it out - otherwise you may end up with a (still very expensive) ornament... It is quite expensive/difficult to get older wheels repaired.

I would advise you to join the local guild (there will be one near you), they often have wheels for beginners for hire and also people who can teach you. Also often wheels for sale are not advertised, but spinners know of someone trying to sell etc etc.  Also while you learn on a hired wheel you can save up for a new one, possible a realy good one!

one of my lovely volunteers at the shop has just heard i am looking for a wheel and said......
come round and have the one that's been sitting at my place for years :love: :love: :love:
when asked how much she replied nothing!!
so i said i'd clear her nettles etc for her :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
