A year ago this afternoon, I drove away from the place I'd worked for the previous 14 years and became self employed! Broke but happy and far healthier, no regrets..

I'm 4 and a half years into my escape to freedom and have never regretted it either. Here's to many more anniversaries for you.

I walked away from my job 11 years ago. They owners of the company I worked for were so mad at me that I was going that they would not even talk to me , that's after working for them for 16 years.
I've never looked back

Well done you. We upped and left nearly 3 and a half years ago now. Left well paid jobs, but threw it in to move to Glorious South West Wales and live our long wished for life, on a Smallholding. Job done
