First anniversary
« on: September 30, 2011, 04:12:30 pm »
A year ago this afternoon, I drove away from the place I'd worked for the previous 14 years and became self employed!  Broke but happy and far healthier, no regrets..

Congratulations! We're celebrating a year since we bought our place today. Got to go mow some space for the hog roast and bouncy castle!

Happy anniversary, many more to come.
I walked away from my job 11 years ago. They owners of the company I worked for were so mad at me that I was going that they would not even talk to me , that's after working for them for 16 years.

Well done you.   We upped and left nearly 3 and a half years ago now.  Left well paid jobs, but threw it in to move to Glorious South West Wales and live our long wished for life, on a Smallholding.   Job done
Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again !!
