Starter flock of Dorset Down sheep for sale
« on: September 29, 2011, 08:35:06 pm »
I have a beautiful small flock of Dorset Down sheep not registered but pure bred. I have had them for the last 3 years and I bought them as shearlings, two of them were lambs at foot so are younger. There are 7 ewes and an unrelated older ram. They are all very tame when being handled by me but they are not keen on men! I have kept them as pets and it breaks my heart to let them go but I simply don't have any grass to keep them on over winter. They are a great sheep for all you women out there who fancy a go at sheep keeping as they are smaller and more compact than commercial sheep. A good home is essential for my girls. I live in South Cheshire so if you are interested then email me.  :sheep: :sheep:
