SOLD 2 small zwartbles ewe lambs/pets for sale,
« on: September 21, 2011, 08:38:13 pm »
We have 2 purebred ewe lambs that were born the small lamb in their litters and are have stayed smaller than our other lambs, although otherwise healthy sheep. They are offered for sale unregistered, neither has a full blaize, they would make good pets/mowers as they are nice and friendly and should possibly be suitable to breed from next year. Have been heptavac P vaccinated.

Hello Blinkers, they are really quite small, I don't think either were well placed on the placenta, the one on the right was a triplet, and the one on the left a tiny twin to a very large one, although I understand when this happens it can mean that there 3 or more embryos to start with and absorbtion of the others may have occured. Miniture zwartbles! I think they will both be small when fully grown, and if they were going to be bred from in the future then they would probably be more suited to put to a smaller mountain breed tup.
Will be sending you a pm re tomorrow - all ok to deliver your 3 :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :)

This picture taken alongside some of our other ewe lambs yesterday gives an idea of their size relative to the others, they are the 2 on the left.

bumping up ad for these 2 friendly girls. Both have correct mouths etc, just a bit smaller in stature.
