Making Lip balm
« on: September 21, 2011, 09:36:01 am »
Good morning everyone!

After pondering over what to do with this years wax cappings I have decided to make lip balm, as I can never find mine when I need it.  I'll be using the How to make lip balm from scratch and recipe here]http://www.soapcrafters.com/book/export/html/1029]here and have managed to collect everything I need- except I'll be using bergamot instead of mint.
I know from reading that with soap you have to be very careful with PH balances and getting recipes tested for the commercial market - if I wanted to sell the balms made with the above recipe, does the same apply?  This may be a silly question, but its always good to know what is what!
