Newbie in Herefordshire

Hi,
I'm Herefordshire based. We have just over 9 acres and make hay, keep a few hens, run a small allotment and we also keep / drive Fell ponies. I dream of building a house on the land one day (legally!) and I'm still figuring out how to achieve this!  :farmer:

Hello and welcome.  Nice to see another Fell owner on here.  We have three Fells and 5 Dales ponies among a lot of other animals.

Hello and welcome from north Cumbria

We have Fells (mine) and Dales (his) ponies here, slowly getting on with getting them trained for work.  I ride my older gelding and hope to get my mare ridden away soon.

We have a lot of Hereford cross cattle here too - lovely solid docile girls, make great suckler cows.

We'll look forward to hearing more about your plans - and your ponies!  (Hens and allotment too)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
