Baytril and egg withdrawl
« on: August 24, 2011, 10:03:02 am »
All (14) of my hens has a wheeze (otherwise seem healthy) the vet is going to give me Baytril.

How long do you withdraw the eggs?

Is it ok to give the eggs back to the hens somehow?

I've seen so much conflicting advice ranging from 7 days to never eat the eggs again!!!

Confused as usual!

If its Mycoplasma, Baytril is not much use, Tylan is the best & no egg withdrawl either x

I agree about Tylan, but in answer to the the withdrawal period for Baytril - 7 days since last treatment. 7 days is standard for eggs when there is no stated withdrawal period.
