Hi all

We are collecting/ delivering three pigs from our butcher tomorrow and have just had a cancellation due to a broken freezer.

It's a quarter pig that is available made in to joints, chops, rolled shoulder, sausages and bacon at £90 (roughly 18kg) or we can split it in to two 'taster boxes' for £45 each (roughly 9kg). Everything is vac-packed in to manageable sizes and labelled, ready to pop in to the freezer. The bulk of the order can be delivered or posted (in insulated boxes with ice packs) tomorrow and the bacon will be ready next Friday.

Several people on the forum have bought our pork and describe it as the best they've ever tasted.

We're in Central Scotland/ Stirlingshire.

Hi

Sorry, it's taken me a while to get to the computer to update that this pork sold soon after posting this message.

We have more pigs going to the abattoir on Tuesday and, after being hung for a week, the meat will be ready for delivery/ collection on Friday 2nd September with the bacon ready on Friday the 9th.

1/2 pig £180 (35-40kg), 1/4 pig £90 (17-20kg) and Taster boxes are £45 (8-10kg). Everything is butchered the H.F.W. way and to your specification - kidneys, trotters, bones and even head can be included - just ask! Everything is vac-packed, weighed and labelled and ready for your freezer. Sausages are in packs of 6 weighing 400g and bacon in 300g packs....we've had customers order half a pig as just sausages and bacon and realised it was actually cheaper than buying her usual brands at the supermarket! Our meat is always fresh - never frozen!

Oh, and we're now taking orders for our Christmas turkeys too at £10 p/kg

Right, back out to feed the animals
