hello fellow smallholders

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong bit, computers are definately not my forte. Introductions - Im Lou from the east yorkshire area and i am finally trying to fulfill my ambitions to be a smallholder. We (My hubby, and 6 children are renting near driffield) and would love to make contact with other like minded people who live near to us. At the moment we have chickens, but are hoping to get serious with our veg and increase our animals to rabbits, turkeys and hopefully pigs if the landlord is feeling kind. Cant wait to hear from you x

Hi Lou
I joined the site about 4 weeks ago and I'm from Bridlington.
We have just bought a place with 5 & half acres and we are just starting to get it together (slowly).  Like you I am looking at having chickens, turkeys, and pigs in the future.  You will love the site - I haven't been off it for more than a few hours each day and loving reading old posts as well as the new.  Its fantastic !!!!

Hi Lou,
I'm in Barton - not too far away from Driffield. Welcome!
Carole
