Marking an item as read
« on: August 10, 2011, 10:28:10 pm »
I know that you can mark all items as read but can anyone tell me if you can mark individual items as read i.e. perhaps ones on a subject that doesn't hold your interest?

thanks
Sally

Not at the moment.  :(

When the forums are upgraded for the new site there will be the option to ignore individual topics so they don't show up in the unread posts / new replies views.

You can do it on a section basis - if you click on the word, say, 'pigs' rather than on a message, the you can delete all the messages in 'pigs' that are coming up as unread.  I go through the list that way, and whittle it down to the ones I want to read.

I don't have time to think of things I might have done or not done ;)
