Hi all, can anyone let me know the going rate for transporting livestock? I have to get 6 piggies to the abattoir and unsure what I may have to pay any ideas please. It is about a 50mile trip.

Thank you

Sorry, no idea of the cost & I'm a bit far away from you to help-out.  Are you not able to borrow a trailer from someone?  It may be worth phoning the abbatoir - they may be able to recommend someone.

I would either borrow a trailer or ask a mate with a trailer/transporter to take them for you. You can pay them in pork or other barter. No idea of the cost if you use a commercial firm, but it's unlikely to be cheap!

Is there someone near who would give you a lend of one? Put an ad. in your local feed merchants. you would be welcome to borrow mine but a bit too far away :(

Do you mean the websites under his topic like a signature? If so, everybody has these links, I think they vary and attach themselves depending on your topic contents!

If you go to the individual profile page you can see individual websites there (if the user has one of course  :)  )
