I have just enlivened my goats afternoon

enormously by tying to put up an electric fence across their paddock. One twanged the tape I was trying to tauten repeatedly with her front hoof while the other bit chunks off the plastic spool and they both entangled themselves repeatedly in the tape. After saying 'No!' firmly and to no effect, I gave up.It was like trying to work with two hyperactive toddlers who wanted to be involved in what I was doing. Bless them, it gave them a lot of fun anyway!

I just did the same job but anticipating their 'assistance' left them in their stable while I laid the tape and wired up the energiser first thing in the morning.

By comparison our Kunes are saints...

Well, that's just being SENSIBLE isn't it....and getting the job done! ;D
My problem is that I've had a few years gap from having goats and am more used to sheep at the moment. I could wire up a paddock with the Wiltshires in it with very little interest shown except for someone maybe ambling up for a head scratch. I have to remember that goats are...different!
