Stolen HGV Please be on the look out
« on: July 24, 2011, 12:04:10 am »
Hope this is ok to post in here...

It was stolen from Nailstone between 18.30 Saturday 16th and 04.30 Monday 18th July 2011
Reg RC52 RMC however could now be on clone plates and minus the vinyl logo's.
This truck is the only one like it in the country, it has a bigger than normal cab, been stretched. It is unique and very obvious.
Last possible sighting on the A419 heading north between Swindon and Gloucester at 11:00am Monday morning. There has also been reported sighting in Scotland.

If you see this truck please contact the police.

Thankyou for your time

Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

It has been posted all over facebook and twitter as well as a few other forums as well (trucknetuk, pistonheads etc etc). Thought it might be worthwhile asking on here, its the old adage of more eyes the better.

Seeing as it has been apparently spotted pulling a trailer since its been stolen then I would think its likely to be hidden in a farmers barn etc. Tis a shame seeing as its a lovely truck whose boss worked hard to build up the firm.

think of the worst, and buy another one, you won't see it again, and those words aren't nasty either.

we had an tiltand slide truck plus brian james 2 car trailer, 1 set of trade plates 1 transit and other people vehicles vanished into thin air and never seen again.

I know your not trying to belittle the OPs post by charging in and saying 'buy another', as buying another doesnt compensate - even if you have insurance. - then again I do see you point.

Some people look at expensive machinery and think your a millionaire to somehow justify their actions of taking it - if they had bothered or even knew how to look at and analyse a 'balance sheet' they would know that stealing a piece of machinery like this can put alot of people out of work.

I hope you find it mate.
