At last. We're buying a hive from a bloke who's giving up. Even though I'm only the back up, I'm quite excited  ;D

Brilliant! I'd get a second hive soon though. It's a lot easier to manage 2 than 1, paradoxically, as if you lose a queen you can re-queen from the other one. What strain of bees are you getting?

Fab news...but bee (!) prepared for sleepless nights while you worry about them....and the 5 minutes once a week they tell you is how long they take is rubbish!  I spend hours some weeks...but great fun....

so now i have to come and meet them.......

is that before or after you come and meet the goats and the new horses....oops did that slip out about the new horses..........soooo excited
