Wannabe small holder
« on: July 20, 2011, 02:16:03 pm »
Hi all I have just joined this great site.
I grow various vegetables each year, which I really enjoy. I am hoping to start keeping chickens soon for eggs initially so any advive would be greatly welcomed.
I am also very interested in making my own cured meats and sausages, which i will experiment by buying half a pig (Any ideas on a good source in surrey ?)
I would also like to keep pigs one day and i am looking into renting a field near my house, as i think my 75 foot garden isnt big enough ?

Paul..

Hello and welcome from Devon  :)

I don't have any details of a source for 1/2 pig in Surrey, but I can courier to you (I have a special offer at the moment of free mainland UK overnight delivery).

Let me know if you would like more details.
