White leghorns or similar wanted
« on: July 15, 2011, 07:50:48 pm »
We had a White Leghorn called Snowie. She had a few adventures when we first moved up here and became John and Linda's favourites. Unfortunately, she died a few weeks ago. Dan and I would like to get a couple of White Leghorn pullets for John and Linda. Anyone locally (Angus) got any?

Where are you? What's an exchequer (pardon my ignorance)?

BH has wanted some exchequers for ages - but it's never been worth spending megabucks on fancy birds in case foxy - or the dratted mink - takes them.

How much would you want for your crossbreds - and where are you?
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
