Does anybody know how to use one of these wee beasties?



I charged it up with grease, but I just can't seem to get it to 'prime'. I even tried with chain oil, just in case it was air locked, but not a sausage.  Unfortunately, the internals are all covered in grease now, so I can't even look in to see how it's supposed to work. Can anybody enlighten me?  I suspect the key might be in the red plastic insert that goes down into the main tube (looks a bit like a cap, but it isn't).

The manual is full of useful advice: "The majority of chainsaw injuries are caused by the operator coming into contact with the fast moving chain" for instance  , but I can't see anything on how to use the grease gun. Perhaps they thought it was so simple, they didn't need to explain it!!

only certain bars need the grease gun       roller tip bars             your saw should be auto lube or backed up with manual lube for the chain       if you use plenty of oil the chain will last longer     also the chain has to be sharp and the depth gauges set          it all adds up to the saw going through wood like butter
