dont know what they're missing
 - back breaking digging, sh*t shovelling, vets bills, can't afford or take a holiday, dead stock, nature's cruelty first hand.
I could go on!

but on the other side,
the knowledge of where your food comes from, the satisfaction of growing or raising it yourself, new life, the satisfacion of the two-fingered salute to T*sco! giving a better, healthier, and understanding life to us and our children

again, I could go on!

any who...i like to spot NORBERT DENTRESSANGLE lorries!!lol i used to go on the night hall ferries when i was a kid and my dad used to drive trucks aswell! this firm always seemed to be infront of us in the que,I always found the name funny to say  ..(i was 11!)

I am even odder than you lot!    I check number plates to see if they might be personalised ones, and then try to guess how much money they wasted.

I try to make words out of the letters and numbers on the numberplates  but usually, I'm asleep (not if I'm driving, thankfully)

having just opened Country Smallholding (August) I thought the Livestock forum letters are abit odd, some daft questions & lots of "whats your opinion mr Tyne?!"
maybe the real smallholders are just out there doing it, instead of talking/writing about it!!
