Hi thanks for the Question,
My local pub puts it on the menu as a starter, very thin sliced (not cooked) with a side salad, and the Ham goes down a treat, he has it on the specials board menu as " Yorkshire Parma Ham"

so in answer to your question, it is like Parma ham but from Yorkshire.

you can also Cook the Ham as a joint- simmer for 20 mins a pound then oven cook with a mustard and brown sugar glaze, either way its Delicious.

Sold 2 more, (Mick & Anne from York area) are picking them up next Tuesday

the Hams are selling fast......... so that leaves 6 full Hams left.

Paul,
We're really looking forward to collecting the matured hams. Ours ( the one you helped us make) should be ready for Christmas, but when I saw your message we thought why wait!

The bacon and hams you helped us make have gone down really well. I wish we'd got in touch with you before we tried the HFW recipe, which was inedible.

Mick butchered his first pig on his own yesterday as per your advice. Great success, so thanks again for coming over to share your expertise.

Hi Anne,
I'm glad your own Bacon and Pork turned out well. I thought Mick would make a good job of butchering his own pig, thats what our butchery service is all about. We try and teach and advise in a way that you can understand, and at the speed where you can hopefully remember most of it.
