As far as I know you cannot show a wether goat.

which is a shame ... they are so affectionate, though of mine I can hardly say well behaved!!
I didn't know that either, does that include mother-and-kid classes?

There could be shows that do have classes for wethers, but British Goat Society shows do not have those types of classes. I think there would be more of those in England. He still should have 2 forms of ID- is there not enough of the ear left to put in a replacement?

And yes it does include mother and progeny, and sire and progeny classes as well. If the wether has not been shown in competitive classes then they should not be included in the progeny class either. You can as an exception ask the judge if they are willing for the goat to go in (we have done this before with a kid which could not be shown in the show as he was too young).

no he couldnt be retagged until his ear has grown bigger. what age r u tagging ur goat kids?
we can just take the nanny kid. was planning on turrif, but if i take the goat on the sunday, i cant show the heifer on the monday. i will have to see if new deer or keith have goat classes.
