Imagine trying to make a smallholding business work in a year, I wouldnt want to be in their shoes.

I wonder which one of them will have to take up a job in the local tesco to bring in some money for next years rent ;~)

I hope they make it, they did seem like a nice couple with plenty of drive - its just things never seem to 'drive' as much as any intention when it comes to producing your own stuff and launching a label. Thats especially if your not only doing the marketing but also the production, paperwork, organisation and the time spent waiting for bureaucracy to keep up with your demands.

What a bad website. Hard to navigate, doesn't display well and lacking information.

Just what would have expected if I'd given them any thought. Which I haven't.

Yes I thought the website was a bit of a disappointment especially the blog. I wondered if an update programme is planned which might limit what they can talk about

Yes, the website wasn't quite ready to launch, really, was it?  I think it will be nice, though, once they get it fully populated.

I thought Jayne's tweats were sweet and fun.

And I liked the look of their first products so much I have ordered some!  I'll report back ... they're due next Thurs.  :)

I'd pay this sort of price for lamb in my local butcher or for mutton at the local farmers market.  Good meat's not cheap!

I concur, the website does not look finished, some of the main title is covered up by the nav bar on the left, overall it looks like someone has thrown it together in 5 minutes.

The sausages do look good though, I might buy some!. I wish them success but I think they need to work on there marketing and website some more.

Rather then selling only on the Jimmy's farm website they should install a shopping cart on their website so the public can buy directly from them. otherwise they will forever be in the shadow of jimmy's farm.
