got our sweetcorn out today and am glad to see those gaps filled up at last,
its all looking great at the mo, i love the flowers that veg plants produce, the peas and broad bean flowers are looking
amazing, looking forward to seeing the red flowers of the runner beans soon.
more rain again today where we are, have to say im delighted! its making a difference to our spud plants

And don't forget, not only are they pretty but broad bean (and pea) flowers are edible too!

sounds great, just need to get my finger out and get things progressing, to dry in april too plant too wet in may there never seems to be a happy medium

My peas are budding but not flowered yet - I'm quite excited as the shallots I planted out last week and the red cabs look like they're taking ok and the runner beans are starting to grow again so things are looking up

Still got a few tiny PSB sprouts to eat but salad leaves are ready to start cropping now so at last I should be on the homegrown more and more, and giving Mr Tesco and co a bit less

I don't like broad beans so didn't grow them this year - am wondering if I should have put a few in to make something of them since they did well last couple of years
