.......my daughter's house was broken into yesterday and her wedding day jewellery stolen (that I and her Grandmother had given her on their engagement to wear on the day as my Mum knew she wouldn't live to see it) The thieves must have been watching her go out at ***** and return at ***** every day (to pick up ****** from ****) They sat last night with the instruction manual for the alarm system - only been in the house a few weeks so hadn't got round to using it.
We have a wonderful police force in the UK, very kind, and smart - those two puppies have been very lucky. I think Facebook may have a lot to do with it though - no place to hide now!
Oh dear. The thing is, too much info is given out to strangers over the internet - albeit facebook, this forum, or whereever - above is a good example - now we ALL know what time your daughter goes out, what she is doing, how long she is gone, the name of her child and approx age, (I've blanked out the info, no need to repeat). It doesn't take much to piece info together from various postings, and that's all the bad people need.
Please be careful what you write folks, stay safe.
