Robin will give an illustrated talk about the many facets of photographing the Shropshire Hills.  Did you know that in 1958 the Shropshire Hills became one of the first parts of England and Wales to be designated an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?
Robin is well renowned for his photography, providing images to the National Trust, Shropshire Tourism and similar organisations, and his postcards, prints and calendars are sold widely across the county.  He has, also, published a book – remember that copy Milly passed around at our AGM in January?
 There will, also, be:
the Members’ Exchange time, which will include the opportunity for any announcements about items for sale or wanted.
the monthly raffle so, please be generous when buying tickets.  Items for prizes will be appreciated.
the Members’ Table where you can sell any smallholder items, such as eggs, chutneys, tools & crafts.
As usual we will round off the evening with a two-course supper.   There is a charge for supper of £5.00 per person but, please, note that booked meals have to be paid for even if you are unable to attend the meeting as an outside caterer provides the food.  If you would like a vegetarian meal please request this when booking.
To book for the talk and/or supper please contact Paula Raymond by e mail lucy@raymond606.freeserve.co.uk or by ‘phone on  01743 873986 or by dropping her a line at Holly Ash, Lower Lythwood, Lyth Bank SY3 0BB.  Meals must be booked by the evening of Sunday 5th June at the latest.
All bookings are important (whether you are staying for a meal or not).
Guests and visitors are welcome at the meetings and there is an entrance fee of £1 & £3 respectively.  Meetings are free for members.

Hopefully see you there
