Rough answer :

30 days at 2lb (2mths to 3mths old)   60lb of feed (28 kg)
30 days at 3lb (3mths to 4mths old)   90lb of feed (41kg)
30 days at 4lb (4mths to 5mths old)   120lb of feed (55kg)
30 days at 5lb (5mths to 6mths old)   150lb of feed (68kg)
30 days at 6lb (6mths to 7mths old)   180lb of feed (82kg)
30 days at 6lb (7mths to 8mths old)   180lb of feed (82kg)
TOTAL   780lb of feed (355kg)
which is 14 bags of feed (56lb / 25kg bags)

If you take off at 6 months deduct that last two lines !

Most feed has a shelf life of about 3 months to ensure vitamin content, so consider this when bulk buying

Also some bags are only 20kg, so check size when conparing prices
