so far I have one new chick hatched this morning, feed wise, what do I leave out for it & mum? do I need to leave out two seperate feeds or will mum live of chick crumb for a while?

thanks in advance, & sorry for the numpty question

ps - i have a chick feeder and small water feeder suitable for chicks

For the first 24 hours they don't need anything, tehy live off what was in the yolk sac.  Yes, the hen will be fine on chick crumbs for a while, so leave food for them all together, and make sure there is water available that they can't fall into and drown.  Otherwise - don't worry they'll be fine.  Other chicks should be along soon! ;D
