I have a friend coming over to mine at the end of may, he would most probably do it but it will work out expensive for 2 sheep after setup costs.

setup cost is normally £55 and I doubt for 2 sheep they would charge much more than that. My friends equipment runs off his car so no need for sockets etc.

for just 2 Id get a pair of hand shears for £12 and do it yourself, it doesnt have to look like anything, just for comfort so it can be a bit raggy. worth considering?

or is there a local sheep farmer you can tag yours onto when they do theirs?

If they are fairly tame and cme for the bucket - get some dagging shears (which you would have anyway for doing their backends), tie them up and do it yourself.

thankyou everyone for the replies. think best option is to have a word with local farmers and see if i can tie in with them somehow. failing that they were bottle fed orphans so pretty tame and we will have a try it doing it ourselves. thankyou
