I went to poundland after Lidl last week - their pack of fat balls has 8 or 10, Lidl's only 6. They go really quick in this kind of weather!

Johnson's Baby wipes at Semi-Chem
Normally £2.48 a packet, 6 packets for £5
I know it's not strictly smallholding related but a great bargain none the less !

Tesco this time! Fruit trees are in, but not as big trees as at Homebase. They vary in price from £4 to £8. They also had Rowan, Ash, and Willow trees too. I got a willow for £4 myself.

Also Morrison- 3 litre plastic jug for a £1. We use these for keeping milk in and measuring etc- not sure if anyone else would find useful, but a great bargin.

Hi all! Morrisons have the mini plastic greenhouses good for starting seeds off - Self assembley £10 each its the cheapest I've seen them. I have a friend who works there and is buying me one with her staff discount. Happy bargain hunting!

Good thing about a recession is there are plenty of bargains to be had - if you have the money and/or a stable income.
