hursqvarna CTH160

Hi, my neighbour has offered to sell me a hursqvarna ride on mower for £400. It's fairly low 'mileage' but has been stood unused for about 2 years

it started OK though (with new battery and petrol), but then spat out the cutter-drive belt before it could be test driven in anger.

Are these good machines or would I be better putting the money towards something else (I was thinking a mini-tractor sort of thing). It would be handy for topping the grass.  :)  At the moment I'm using a scythe - hard work in hot weather.

Thx
