« on: April 12, 2011, 09:41:32 am »
I have a ewe due to lamb anyday who has a very snotty nose, she is well in herself, eating, drinking etc just very snotty. I know this can happen when its dry and dusty which it has been recently, but I am also concered it could be nasal bots? should I/ can I wor her now just in case, or wait until she has lambed? any advice gratefully received, thanks

having had a problem with nosebots for many years I worried a great deal about worming using ivomec and especially during pregnancy;I have wormed my ewes for the last three springs at the same time as their heptavac injections a month before they are due to lamb without any side efffects except this year for the first time i don't see any nosebot flies yipee!!
