Sheds??
« on: April 11, 2011, 11:38:50 am »
Can anyone tell me where is selling cheaper 6x4ish  sheds at the moment. I ahve decided that i'm fed up having to crouch down to clean out one  of the huts and have persuaded dad to help me convert another shed.

thanks

B&Q are selling-off some of their "old season" & ex-display stock at the mo.  Do you know anyone who has an over 60's card - apparently if they go on a Weds. they can get a discount - bus passes & discounts eh, lucky things  ;)

Erm, well, me - if anyone wants the discount I am free on Wednesday!  But I haven't got a bus pass yet (only been retired 7 years, gie's a brek! ;) ) so you'll need some wheels! ;D

I'm looking for similar, and found a few out your way on Gumtree Cameron. Certainly worth a search to see if they're still listed.

I get mine from gumtree too - reasonably priced and much better quality than the stuff that comes up on freecycle. Things on freecycle also tend to go almost instantly round here if they are any good so its easy to waste ages chasing stuff that is no longer available.

I managed to get two sheds, all they needed was new roof felt and a paint, as well as some wooden fencing by advertising.  Very grateful lady who thought I was doing her a big favour and saving her the cost of a skip.  Gave her a few eggs as a little thank you.  One is being used as a feed shed, the other with perches for my eating chickens

You could try eBay.
I got a cracker 8 x 6 for £80 that will last a lifetime. I also got a 10 x 7 that was a real dog! The motto is to 'pay on collection' and if it is worse than advertised - walk away.

Good luck

Paul
