It's lovely to see isn't it. We had our first 3 weeks ago and are half way to our second. We hatched barnavelders as i wanted more brown egg layers in my flock next year. Customer love the mixture of colours in the egg box.

Well?  Did they hatch?  Did you manage to drag yourself away from watching the 'wobbling'?

As its early in the season we tried with just 6 eggs....  2 hatched.  Both chicks seem fit & strong so am happy with that.  Going to get a batch of 12 eggs to set this weekend.

My first hatch is due out today aswell. The first one had pipped then I had to leave for work - won't know til hubby gets home what's happening! ::) Not sure if it's better to be there and staring through the incy window or be here (at work) and busy! ;D :P
