blackcurrant bushes - too late?
« on: March 12, 2011, 04:03:45 pm »
Is it too late to prune my blackcurrant bushes ? I know it's a job usually done in the late autumn, but things didn't go according to plan last year!  Trouble is that there seem to be a lot of buds already, so would I be better leaving the bushes alone this spring?  If it helps, I live in north Derbyshire and usually everything is about 6 weeks behind the warmer south.
