Hi try a company called Eagle Plant they have depo's all over the south west and they often sell off there old containers at a good price.

I have the number for the chard depo 0146061111 they can then give you the number for your local one.

There is a company near St Austell that also sell containers. Have you tried looking up the local auctioneers web sites for forthcoming sales there is one in a couple of weeks in Truro (Lodge & Thomas  are the auctioneers)

Thanks for your replies, we have contacted several firms now only to be told that containers to buy are like hen's teeth however, we have managed to locate one that is going to be delivered on Tuesday, its more than we wanted to pay but at least weve got it now and its green so shouldn't upset the neighbours too much. ::)

Years ago shipping containers were made of wood and what wonderful field shelters etc. they made. Warm in winter, cool in summer, you could have lived in one. I dare say the metal ones last longer but must roast in summer!
