Time Lapse Camera Photos of Lambing
« on: March 02, 2011, 11:25:12 am »
Typically, mum moved out of shot for pics of actual birth, but I moved camera and got a few pics inc these. The pic is within the first hour of lamb being born.

First pic is of mum turning to see her newborn.

Mum lambed fine with no assistance.

:sheep: I've now put up 2nd pic to show mum and baby the following day in their field shelter.

Lovely.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing a lamb having their first feed.  :)

I love seeing them lamb outside especially when you can just stand back and watch nature at it's best.

Thanks all, and thanks Andy, good to hear that you think she looks ok, always nice to get some feedback.

I moved them to their field shelter later the same day so they have protection from the elements, and she is turning out to be a good attentive mum.

I will add some later pics to this post once I've downloaded them from camera.
