Lazy, lazy cat
« on: March 01, 2011, 01:29:16 pm »
In recent weeks our cat Salem has learnt how to knock at the front door so he doesn't have to go around to the back of the house to come in via the cat flap. Last night he decided to meet me at the end of the road when I was coming home from work. There was a lot of plaintive meowing and trying wrap himself around my feet as well as lifting his paw up. I thought he might have hurt himself, but no it seems he just wanted me to carry him home ! (not that I'm ever manipulated by my cat)  :)

thats funny!
one of ours like to visit the houses and gardens up the street, many a time we've crawled down in the car with me cursing him out the window to get back home, and him loping alongside....

Before he learnt how to knock at the front door he liked to climb up the door and peer in through the glass bit in the top half waiting until one of us noticed him and let him in.

He is lovely.  :D

My Spook hides under the hedge by our gate and as soon as she hears by car comes running to to meet me at the back door. She ignores other peoples cars  ;)

My Rio is the same - he always seems to be there when I return which leads me to believe he doesn't go anywhere, but I know that isn't true as a number of neighbours have reported seeing him walking along the railway line up to the fields of horses about half a mile away (on the tracks!)  He was brought up with horses so goes up there every day.
Here he is in one of his favourite haunts! ;D
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
