Hi

Our names are Lara and Alex and we live in North Lincolnshire with our 5 children (with a sixth on the way!)

We have just started writing a blog about our efforts this year to become self-sufficient from the produce of our smallholding.

If you are interested in seeing how we get on please follow us at http://feedourselves.blogspot.com/, all support, encouragement and advice welcome!  I'm sure we will need it!

Thanks

Sandy

Hi AlexinLincs and welcome to TAS.  I wish we had had our smallholding when our children were young - even if yours claim the hate it they will learn plenty to set them up for the future, when they will need these skills.  Hopefully you will share your experiences here as well as on your blog as I for one only have time for this group, but I will be interested to hear how you get on.  Good luck - it's definitely worth making the change  :)
