Yipee,
« on: February 16, 2011, 08:22:35 pm »
Hi

Lunch time i noticed the 7th ewe to have two water bags hanging, this evening still nothing had happened and no lambs, so OH held her head while I had a feel, and one front leg of the first lamb was tucked under, so I gently eased my arm in under the lamb and pulled it up, and gently pulled both front feet with head following and out she came, felt inside again and pulled the other one straight out no problems, im so chuffed to have sorted it myself, there no better feeling to see the ewe licking her lambs....mermering to them... its really something special ....I put iodine on the navels, at least one is a ewe lamb, total so far 12 lambs.......9 boys 3 girls.

I will go back in two hours at 10pm and make sure they are suckling, they are certainly lively
